This stunning and very individual home is located on the Kent coast facing across the broad sweep of the Thames Estuary with its extensive views. It features ClickitUp on a rear facing balcony, our unique balustrade system that offers the option of protection from the wind via a second pane that sits neatly behind the structural glazing and is released simply by pressing down. Cleverly concealed gas drives hidden inside the uprights then push the glass up to 1900 mm high. This allows extended use during the day, into the night and throughout the year. Returning the lift glass to its lowered position is achieved simply by pulling down until your hear a "Click", hence the name! Our client chose to have the marine grade aluminium uprights colour matched to the windows and doors, toughened glass and stainless steel fittings and fixings ensure that the system is fully capable of withstanding the rigours of a coastal setting. Sadly, whilst ClickitUp is very effective with wind, it's not so good with rain!

The deck area made for a challenging installation project with the buildings curved facade in accommodating the fall as well as the design requirements but our experienced installation team rose to the challenge and the project has been completed to the clients complete satisfaction and on time. EasyDeck is arguably the only composite decking system that can cater to the needs of such a project. Designed from the bottom up, the system and its more grown up range, Megawood, include a complete sub-structure system that includes FixStep, a unique solution for fitting onto a flat roof that eliminates any risk of damage to the membrane in transferring loads and water run-off across the roof. The systems design and manufacture ensures a long and trouble free life - vital when you are 7 storeys up!
